Registration and Timeline Information

  1. Must be a CETA member. Memberships expire in September. Renew via Eventbrite with your registration or separately. Currently $125.

  1. Any High School Theatre program in California may participate in this NEW DIGITAL FESTIVAL FORMAT; CETA membership is required.

  1. $200 Adjudication Includes:

              1. Up to 3 sceneworks scenes with Adjudication feedback
              2. Certificates of Merit printed and mailed to school
              3. Awards 1st, 2nd, 3rd in each category
              4. 2 top performer awards each category
              5. 1 ensemble award each category
              6. Medallions for Adjudicator awards
              7. Due Dec 31 Up to 4 Senior scholarship submissions (two acting, two tech)
              8. Due Dec 31 Vivian Bish Submissions
  1. $40 TECHWorks submission, up to 2.

        1. Must be a CETA member.
        2. Must be registered before the Oct 15th deadline.
        3. Adjudication feedback of your student design project
        4. Certificates of Merit printed and mailed to school
        5. Awards 1st, 2nd, 3rd in each category
        6. Medallions for Adjudicator awards

VIDEO Submission Window Oct 1- Dec 10

  1. On Oct 1st, a Google form will be sent to the registered schools.

  2. You will be asked to upload videos to the form once you are ready.

  3. You must upload your entries separately (1 video per form)

  4. You will enter all student names and their role

  5.  All entries must be received by DEC 10th.

  6. There will be no late entries accepted.

Scholarship Entries

  1. Registered schools may upload scholarship material beginning Oct 1st

  2. 2 Tech entries-format will be updated for virtual submissions

  3. 2 Acting entries

  4. Bish Scholarship

  5. Google forms will close Dec 31

  6. Check for additional scholarship opportunities


Awards and Festival

Jan 1-14th Scholarship interviews will be held via video/phone/online

January 16th, 2021 Winners will be announced at a culminating event MLK weekend Festival Video Celebration or Zoom Viewing party. We do not yet know exactly what this will look like, but plan on it being Saturday, January 16, 2021
