Here are some changes your troupes should probably know!<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Your improv team can be made up of 4-5 people from the same school.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Teams may also be formed at the Improv Spectacular workshops at CSTF.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You will be asked to learn four (4) improv games of which your team will play two (2) randomly selected games.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Each team will be adjudicated by two different panels of adjudicators according to rubrics. The top three rankings and average scores will be compared to determine the winners of the first round of Improv Spectacular Spectacular!<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Finals of Improv Spectacular will compete in a late night event!<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Because improv is an art and a craft, adjudicators will be instructed to consider the tenets of improv and storytelling: \u201cyes, and\u201d, building platforms, characterization, taking turns, story development, listening, etc. These tenets will be discussed in a workshop! The rubrics can be sent to troupe directors if requested<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There will be two\u00a0 workshops at the Festival where individuals can learn the rules of the games, ask any questions, and perhaps find new people to compete in Improv Spectacular!<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Improv should be fun, but not necessarily funny.
