This is the final round of the Chapter Select process.
Troupes interested in performing at ITF will have been pre-selected from outstanding entries at the Regional Play Festivals earlier in the year to perform in Chapter Select Showcase which will take place in a single, non-mainstage location at CSTF.
All Festival attendees are encouraged to watch these outstanding performances.
Adjudication: Using the appropriate ITF Chapter Select Rubric, plays will be adjudicated by a diverse panel of theatre professionals. The judges will equally critique both adults and students. The judges are encouraged to be open, honest, and direct with their feedback to the cast and the director regardless of the director’s age.
In 2025 we are offering Regional Play Festivals in Northern, Central, LA/Inland and San Diego.
We are also offering a virtual Play Festival.
Each troupe may only apply to one Play Festival. $200 per school.
Registration closes on January 10, or as each event sells out, whichever comes first.
Virtual submissions are due January 31.
