Three of our Main Stage events benefit from the guidance of passionate, organized, creative and responsible Thespians interested in directing, choreography, and dramaturgy. 

Up to three students from each troupe may apply for these Production Leadership positions. The following positions are available:

Assistant Director

  • Playworks (virtual meetings pre-Festival, rehearsals Friday and Saturday of Festival, staged reading Saturday or Sunday)
  • Festival Finale (virtual meetings pre-Festival, rehearsals Saturday and Sunday of Festival, performance Sunday)

Assistant Choreographer

  • Opening Number (virtual rehearsals pre-Festival, rehearsals all day Friday of Festival, performance Friday night)

Student Dramaturg

  • Playworks (virtual meetings pre-Festival, rehearsals Friday and Saturday of Festival, performance Sunday)

Adjudication: The professional directors leading each event will review all applications and select their top candidates based on skill set, experience, and interest of the candidates. Selection consideration includes representing as many Troupes as possible.
